Principal Eamon McHugh FCCA

Eamon McHugh is a fellow member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and a Diploma in Management Studies as well as Memberships of both the Chartered Institute of Management and the Institute of Directors.

Eamon is a founding member of EM Accountants and has been in public practice since 1984.

Eamon has been a former Chairman of the North West Branch of the Institute of Management and a past President of Coleraine Rotary Club.

Paul McHillop profile image

Paul McKillop FCCA Manager

Paul graduated from the University of Ulster in 1996 with a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies.

After spending 3 years working in industry he qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 2000. Paul joined the practice in January 2001 and currently has the role of General Practice Manager.

Paul is engaged in all aspects of general practice within EM Accountants. His responsibilities include the provision of audit, accountancy and advisory services to a wide range of clients.

He is also engaged in tax consultancy and tax planning across all the taxes and has gained a wealth of experience working with owner-managed businesses.

Paul has been responsible for the IT requirements of EM accountants delivering accounting and taxation software solutions for the practice, the latest cloud accounting solutions for businesses, together with a customer relationship manager system providing high quality communication with our clients.

Audrey Carson profile image

Audrey Carson FCA Manager

Audrey joined the practice in September 1988 after graduating from the University of Ulster, Coleraine, with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Accounting and Economics.

She successfully qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA) in 1997 and currently is the office manager in Coleraine.

During her career, Audrey has accumulated a wide range of experience in accounting and auditing, including corporate services, spanning a varied portfolio of clients: these include retail, manufacturing, construction & property development, agriculture, and transport & haulage sectors.

As well as her commercial experience, she is engaged with businesses of charitable and voluntary status.

Audrey also provides support in taxation services including Corporation Tax, Value Added Tax and Self-Assessment.

Sean McManus profile image

Sean McManus FCCA Manager

Sean graduated from the University of Ulster at Jordanstown in 1988, with a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Financial Accounting.

He joined the practice in 1988 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in February 1991. Sean currently manages our Cookstown Office.

Over the past 25 years, Sean has gained comprehensive experience, in taxation, accounting and auditing and has managed audit and accounts assignments for clients in a variety of sectors.

Michelle Donnell profile image

Michelle Donnell FCCA

Michelle joined the practice in 1994 following her graduation from University of Central Lancashire with a BA (Hons) Degree in Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Queens University, Belfast.

She qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 2002.

Michelle has worked on and managed audit and accounts assignments for clients in a variety of sectors, including construction, manufacturing, farming, retail and professional/legal services.

Throughout her career, Michelle has also gained extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with clubs/community/voluntary based organisations, including those with charitable status.

Michelle also provides advice and support to clients in matters relating to Corporation Tax, Self-Assessment and VAT.

Catherine Wilson profile image

Catherine Wilson ACCA

Catherine joined the practice in September 1997, training first as an accounting technician and then successfully qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 2006.

She provides support to sole traders, partnerships, companies, and charities in a wide range of accounting/professional support areas including VAT, CIS, Self-Assessment, Payroll, and Accounts Preparation across a wide range of business sectors.
